Longhorns

January has come to an end and our Longhorns have learned so much this month. Everyone really enjoyed learning all about South America and the winter season.
As we approach February, the Longhorns will set off to explore North America. We will focus on Mexico, Canada, and we will explore some of the USA in March. If anyone has items from these countries that we could share please let us know.
Also in February we will be learning about the heart. We will focus on the parts of the heart, what it does for our body, and how to keep it healthy.
February will be the month of Love and Kindness. Valentine’s Day is approaching and we thought it would be good to discuss these characteristics.
Our Valentine Pizza Party is on February 14th. Please remember to bring in $3.00 for pizza in an envelope with your child’s name, and give it to the front desk. They will have an envelope for our class collection. We will also be having a Valentine card exchange on this day. We have 23 friends in our class. Please only put your child’s name on each card. Thank you.
