School in the Hills River Place is situated on 3 1/2 acres of beautiful nature. The large open classrooms with windows and outdoor workspaces in every classroom bring the amazing view of the Austin Hill country into view. Our natural playgrounds were designed by Rusty Keeler and lend themselves to imaginative play, time to visit with friends and gross motor development. These areas include soccer field, basketball area, wooden structures in shady comfortable spaces. The vegetable gardens are a part of the everyday curriculum and maintained by the children with the help of our Chef. There is an indoor activity room and full library that round out our programs. Our goats Laz and Moonbeam just add to our outdoor experiences of respecting nature and everything in it.
